Lovely and Charming Papers came to be after many years of collecting amazing and wonderful cards, gift wrap, invitations and the like. When my husband lost his man-cave to a walk in closet after our baby was born and then lost his closet to my stationery collection after the office became a playroom, he commented that if I had a nickel for every card I had stashed away I would be a wealthy woman. Well, while I am not a wealthy woman, I am very much enjoying turning what has always been a passion and collection into a business.
While still a practicing family law attorney, it is no surprise that helping people plan for the wedding is more fun and uplifting then helping people get through the divorce. I am still a lawyer and very much value the practice, time and skill that goes into it. However, the excitement and joy of planning weddings, parties, events and choosing the stationery to compliment it has become a true love of mine.
